Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end wind project procurement, including WTG, towers, and BoP packages, across Indian projects. You will coordinate closely with project teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and services in line with milestones.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Contracts, preferably within wind, renewable energy, power projects, or heavy engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in WTG OEM coordination, BoP/EPC packages, O&M procurement, and/or site-level procurement will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, techno-commercial evaluation, vendor negotiation, contract terms, and NFA preparation.
  • Good knowledge of wind project components including WTG, towers, foundations, erection, electrical works, SCADA/PPC, logistics, and O&M spares.
  • Strong coordination, follow-up, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement packages and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in SAP PO creation, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for wind projects and O&M requirements, ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and services in line with project and operational needs.
  • Support procurement of key wind project packages including WTG, towers, civil and electrical works, cranes, erection, logistics, SCADA/PPC, and associated BoP requirements.
  • Lead vendor identification, RFQ management, techno-commercial evaluation, comparative analysis, negotiations, and rate finalization for project and O&M requirements.
  • Manage procurement of O&M spares, consumables, tools, safety equipment, electrical and mechanical components, lubricants, filters, sensors, panels, cables, and other critical site requirements.
  • Coordinate procurement of O&M services including manpower, crane services, AMC contracts, repair and refurbishment, statutory testing, and site maintenance services.
  • Coordinate closely with project, engineering, finance, legal, contracts, O&M, and site teams to validate requirements, align procurement schedules, and ensure timely delivery against project milestones.
  • Support preparation and finalization of Purchase Orders, Work Orders, Supply/Service Contracts, and AMC agreements, including coordination on LDs, warranties, bank guarantees, payment milestones, and delivery terms.
  • Maintain procurement MIS, vendor databases, cost benchmarks, rate databases, and procurement trackers, while monitoring cost savings, delivery risks, critical spares, compliance, and adherence to company policies and applicable MNRE/RLMM requirements.
