Job summary

Powercon Ventures India is seeking a Procurement professional to handle end-to-end O&M procurement for Wind turbine items. You will ensure timely availability, manage vendor relationships, and perform cost analysis and RFP processes to support wind projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce with 3-4 years in WTG O&M procurement, and is proficient in Advanced Excel and Power BI. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce.
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in WTG O&M procurement.
• Strong technical knowledge of WTG O&M components.
• Proven experience in vendor development and supplier management.
• Good market knowledge of WTG O&M and vendors.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end procurement of O&M for Wind turbine items ensuring timely availability as per project requirements.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of WTG components including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Fasteners etc
• Develop and manage vendor base, including vendor identification, evaluation, and development
• Maintain strong market knowledge of WTG O&M, materials, and vendor landscape
• Perform detailed costing and commercial evaluation of WTG O&M
• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement planning and execution
