Job summary

Whirlpool India seeks a proactive sourcing professional to support the Indian PMO, aligning strategic initiatives with sourcing pillars and driving responsible sourcing across commodities.

You will partner with commodity teams to rationalize the supply base, implement localization and dual sourcing, and lead risk mitigation. You will collaborate with internal and external partners on SCoC, TPDD, and other programs to promote sustainable procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting PMO and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Knowledge of responsible sourcing, audits, contracts and compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners to drive initiatives.
• Strong data analytics and MIS/dashboard preparation.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between business strategy and tactical execution.
• Drive base rationalization, localization, dual sourcing and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with commodity teams to drive sustainable sourcing programs (SCoC, TPDD).
• Identify process improvements and automation to increase sourcing effectiveness.
• Plan activities with stakeholders ensuring smooth execution.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Support India PMO organization by working on various strategic initiatives
and Responsible Sourcing pillars across Sourcing commodities.

• Acts as the bridge between overarching business strategy and tactical

execution.

• Work with commodity teams to drive Supply Base Rationalization,

Localization, Dual Sourcing and Risk Mitigation actions.

• Work with internal and external partners on various Responsible sourcing

programs like SCoC, TPDD etc to drive sustainable sourcing.

• Strategic thinking , change agent or drive for change management


• Identify opportunities in the space of process improvement and automation

to increase sourcing effectiveness.

• Work with internal and external stakeholders in planning the activities and

ensuring smooth execution of activities inline with the plan.

• Have knowledge and experience in Audits, Contracts and Compliance

Management.

• Good in Data Information management and Data Analytics.


• Preparation of MIS / Dashboard and sending various reports in a timely

manner.
