Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. seeks an experienced engineering leader to oversee field failure analysis and battery pack diagnostics. The role requires hands-on fault finding in Li-Ion packs, CAN log interpretation, and strong knowledge of powertrain systems.

You will lead process audits, mentor a sizable team, and drive reliability improvements across manufacturing and warranty cost-reduction projects. Strong project leadership and QMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field failure analysis and as Product Quality Head for Engine Plants.
• Exposure to Manufacturing processes, Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Problem solving tools.
• Experience in new product FTR Quality projects.
• Hands-on experience on warranty system analysis and warranty cost reduction projects.
• Experience of leading a medium or large sized team.

Responsibilities

• Daily Analysis of Field Failures & Monitoring of the same.
• Conduct Process Audit & ensure the process runs as per Defined Plan.
• Diagnosis of fault finding in Battery box and Li-Ion packs.
• Fault analysis in field failure battery box.
• Battery pack diagnosis with CAN and log reading for defect finding.
• Log study and interpretation of signals.
• Knowledge of Li-Ion cell (GNMC and LFP).
• Cell shorting and grouping.
• Knowledge of Motor Diagnosis & Failure analysis on Vehicle.

Job description

• Daily Analysis of Field Failures & Monitoring of the same Conduct Process Audit & ensure process is running as per Defined Plan
• Hands on experience with Li-Ion Battery Pack repair,
• Diagnosis of fault finding in Battery box,
• Fault analysis in field failure battery box
• Battery pack diagnosis with CAN and log reading for defect finding
• Log study and interpretation of signals
• Use of INKA, CANOE TI tool,
• INKA is added advantage
• Knowledge of Li-Ion cell (GNMC and LFP)
• Cell shorting and grouping
• Knowledge of Motor Diagnosis & Failure abalysis on Vehicle EOL testing
