Job summary

Mahindra Logistics in Surat is seeking a Deputy Manager Operations to lead daily warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring SLA, TAT and throughput targets are met, while promoting safety and process adherence.

You will manage floor productivity, manpower utilization, shift planning, attendance, and workforce discipline, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with FM, LH and LM teams to keep operations smooth.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily operational plans to achieve SLA, TAT and throughput targets.
• Monitor floor productivity, manpower utilization and backlog.
• Manage shift planning, roster, attendance and workforce discipline.
• Drive process adherence, quality checks and SOP compliance.
• Coordinate with FM, LH and LM teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Track operational performance and publish shift-wise MIS.
• Identify operational risks, issues and bottlenecks and drive timely resolution.
• Support RCA, corrective actions and continuous process improvement.
• Ensure safety, compliance and 5S standards are maintained on the floor.
• Lead and motivate the operations team to achieve productivity and quality targets.
