Job summary

Mahindra Logistics Ltd, Kolkata, is seeking a Deputy Manager - Operations to lead warehouse activities with a focus on inventory control and accuracy. You will drive cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and coordinate with inbound, outbound and finance teams to maintain tight inventory discipline.

The role requires hands-on experience with WMS such as SAP or Manhattan, strong analytical skills for variance analysis, and a disciplined approach to process improvements (5S).

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in warehouse operations with focus on inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliation.
• Experience in WMS (SAP/Manhattan, etc.).
• Handling inventory accuracy, shrinkage control, and stock integrity.
• Exposure to putaway, bin management, and SKU mapping.
• Coordination with inbound, outbound & finance teams.
• Strong focus on inventory accuracy & variance analysis.
• Good analytical skills (stock mismatch, ageing, write-offs).
• Ability to manage cycle count planning & audit execution.
• Problem-solving for system vs physical discrepancies.
• Knowledge of process improvement (5S, root cause analysis).
• Good stakeholder communication & reporting (MIS).
• Attention to detail and process discipline.
