Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a Civil Estimator with 8–10 years in real estate to verify contractor billing, prepare estimates and manage costs. The role involves SAP ERP usage, rate analysis, and coordination with site teams to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing tender documents, updating schedules, and tracking progress through reports while ensuring compliance with design and execution processes.

Qualifications

• B.E. Civil with 8 to 10 years of experience in real estate industry.
• Well versed with measurement, computerized billing, bill checking & verification.
• Thorough knowledge of construction procedures & cost management.
• Knowledge of engineering practices, financial audits, billing process, statutory deductions & rate analysis.

Responsibilities

• Verifying contractor billing and cost data.
• Prepare and complete estimates for assigned projects (structural, concrete, earthwork, drainage, pipe work, utilities, buildings).
• Interact with contractors, vendors and site teams for data and approvals.
• Billing and estimation work including tender pricing, rate analysis and budgeting cash flow.
• Prepare project schedules and tender documents.
• Update progress and quality reports; track costs with issue resolutions and certificates of payment.
• Conduct project review meetings.

Job description

The position is responsible for verification of contractor billing, valuation of work done, Reconciliation, Rate Analysis, Co-ordination with Contractors, vendors and quantity calculation.

Role & responsibilities

• Calculating various statistical data, quantity, material price lists, labor cost per man hour, equipment, etc.
• Responsible for the preparation and completion of estimates for assigned projects for one or more disciplines (eg: structural, concrete, earthwork, drainage, pipe work, utilities, buildings, etc).
• Ability to interpret cost data and system required. Advanced knowledge of assigned discipline, estimating techniques, work plan development & cost control.
• Billing & estimation work including tender pricing, rate analysis, budgeting cash flow preparation etc.
• Follow Design Process Flow & monitor progress
• Prepare Project schedule
• Prepare Tender documents
• Prepare all comparative charts
• Updating of schedule after meeting with finalized vendors
• Follow Execution Process Flow
• Obtain progress report from Site personnel
• Tracking of schedule through these progress reports
• Obtain quality reports and track the same
• Bill checking, preparing & issuing Certificates of Payment
• Track cost through issue Resolutions and Certificates of Payment
• Conduct Project Review meetings.
