Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer in Nagpur for lead maintenance of machine shop equipment. You will implement preventive and breakdown maintenance, drive TPM initiatives, and optimize maintenance costs while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 6–10 years of hands-on experience with CNC machinery, PLC control, SAP PM/MM proficiency, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical with relevant maintenance expertise.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in machine shop maintenance and TPM/RCM.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines (Mitsubishi/Fanuc) and PLC concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Handle all breakdowns on a daily basis.
• Monitor and improve MTTR, MTBF and breakdown incidents.
• Implement TPM, RCM, ISO, OHSAS & TS practices.
• Manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and optimize costs while ensuring safety and quality.
• Maintain audit documents for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.
• Proficiency in SAP PM & MM; MS Office; SAP/ARIBA.
• Strong written and verbal communication; data analysis and problem solving.
• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive maintenance plans for all Machine Shop Equipment.

Critical Experience

• Knowledge of CNC machines having Mitsubishi & Fanuc controller.
• Machine Types - Makino HMC (A81, A71, A61 ect) , Mazak HMC (6800 ect), cleaning machines, SPMs with PLC control Programming
• Technical knowledge of special purpose machines.
• Should have a technical knowledge of conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic based testing machine.
• Working and programming knowledge of Mitsubishi & PLC.
• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive maintenance plans for all Machine Shop Equipment.
