Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Deputy Manager - Maintenance to oversee daily equipment maintenance and drive reliability across production facilities in India. The role requires coordinating with production shifts, supervising technicians, and ensuring safe, compliant operations while maintaining clean and organized workplaces.

The incumbent will lead preventive maintenance, track work orders, and supervise safe practices, PPE usage, and training.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) required or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of equipment condition.
• Coordinate with Production Officers on shift to solve maintenance problems.
• Delegate work to workers as per plan and attend to breakdowns.
• Document work orders as prescribed.
• Distribute work orders as prescribed.
• Ensure completion of breakdown and planned jobs with cross verification.
• Maintain safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.
• Monitor PPE use and respiratory protection equipment; ensure maintenance and cleanliness.
• Identify unsafe acts/conditions and take corrective and preventive actions immediately.
• Impart SHE training to operators, helpers and contract workers.
• Verify and measure vendor bills as per ARC/Quotation.
• Act as SHE core team member (identify core team members from HOD).
• Report incidents/accidents/near misses/illness to superiors.
• Identify unsafe conditions/acts and report to superiors.
• In senior’s absence, perform their duties as required.
• As scheduled, complete preventive maintenance of all equipment on time.
• Update history records.
• Conduct trainings to the team.

To look after day-to-day maintenance of equipment's condition

Co-ordination with Production Officers in shift to solve any maintenance problems.

Delegation of work to workmen as per planning attending to breakdown jobs.

Documentation of work orders as prescribed.

Work distribution of work orders as prescribed.

Ensuring the completion of the breakdown, planned jobs and cross verifying the same.

Ensure Safe working conditions and clean environmental practices.

Monitor usages of PPEs, respiratory protection equipment and ensure maintenance & cleanliness.

Observe unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective & preventive actions immediately.

Impart SHE training to operators, helpers and contract workers.

Verification and measurement certification of vendor bills as per ARC/Quotation.

Act as SHE core Team members (HOD to identify the SHE Core Team Members).

Report any incident/accident/ near miss/ illness to the superiors.

Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report to superiors.

Also responsible for the work of senior in the absence of senior.
