Quantumfortuna Consulting Llp seeks a Deputy Manager Layout Engineer for Large Projects to study tender layouts and ensure timely submission of General Arrangement Drawings (GAD) with rigorous due diligence on product fit. The role demands high technical know-how and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities include reviewing tender and site drawings, supporting bids with technical inputs, and coordinating with architects, MEP consultants, and project managers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or graduation in Mechanical or Civil engineering.
• AutoCAD is essential; Revit/BIM advantageous.

Role : Deputy Manager Layout Engineer Large Projects

Primary responsibility is to study tender layouts and feedback if any challenge w.r.t. product fit. Ensure to submit General Arrangement Drawing (GAD) on time with due diligence of product offering. The role demands high level of technical know-how as well as proactive approach.

Operational Responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, architectural drawings, and site survey report.
• Support estimation and sales teams with technical inputs during bid preparation w.r.t lift arrangement.
• Prepare elevator and escalator layout drawings for high-rise, commercial & residential projects.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.
• Provide preliminary layouts and technical clarifications to customers and consultants.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and project managers.
• Review and resolve layout-related technical issues. Ensure elevator interfaces are properly integrated with building design.
• Participate in design review meetings and technical discussions.
• Ensure timely submission of approved drawings to project stakeholders.
• Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support site teams in resolving engineering and layout-related issues.
• Ensure layouts are aligned with project milestones and installation requirements.
• Conduct site visits when required.
• Resolve discrepancies between approved drawings and site conditions.
• Coordinate design modifications due to site constraints.
• Develop layout engineering best practices and standard templates.
• Contribute to layout process improvement initiatives within the Large Projects team.

Education Qualification

• Diploma / Graduation (Mechanical/Civil)
• AutoCAD (Revit, BIM will give advantage)

Professional Experience

• 10+ years of elevator industry layout engineering
• Working on highly complex large projects
