Job description

The Deputy Manager – Inventory is responsible for effective inventory control, GRN processing, billing coordination, vendor follow-up, return management, monitoring short-expiry and non-moving items, and ensuring accurate stock records across all units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and control overall inventory
  • Ensure accurate stock records and system updates
  • Verify and process GRN (Goods Receipt Notes)
  • Coordinate billing and ensure billing accuracy
  • Monitor and manage short-expiry items
  • Identify and prepare non-moving stock lists
  • Coordinate with vendors and maintain vendor relationships
  • Prepare, update, and maintain return lists
  • Follow up with vendors for returns and obtain credit notes
  • Ensure timely receipt and posting of credit notes
  • Follow up with all units regarding stock, returns, and discrepancies
  • Reduce inventory losses, damages, and wastage
  • Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, and accounts teams
  • Prepare inventory, return, and credit note reports
  • Support audits and compliance requirements
