Job summary

Adani Realty is seeking a seasoned Fire & Safety professional to lead the development and enforcement of fire safety policies at our construction sites in Ahmedabad. You will drive risk assessments, training, and incident investigations to ensure regulatory compliance and safe project execution.

The role requires extensive experience in fire safety management within construction or real estate projects, with strong leadership and communication skills to guide safety teams and contractors on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or fire safety.
• Diploma or certification in fire and safety (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years' experience in fire and safety management.
• Construction/real estate/infrastructure project exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor fire safety policies and procedures in line with statutory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification related to fire and safety across project sites.
• Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Plan and conduct fire drills, safety training, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Inspect and ensure proper maintenance of fire protection systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, sprinkler systems, hydrants, etc.).
• Lead investigations of fire incidents and near-miss cases, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with external agencies such as fire departments, safety auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Supervise and guide site safety officers and fire safety teams.
• Maintain proper documentation, reports, and compliance records related to fire safety.
• Support project teams in ensuring safe work practices and emergency preparedness plans.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Fire & Safety / Industrial Safety
• Diploma / Certification in Fire & Safety (Mandatory)

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in fire and safety management
• Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred
