Job Title Manager

Serves as the main point of contact for EHS activities, ensuring compliance and coordination across departments. Key responsibilities include managing EHS projects, conducting audits, overseeing safety training, and maintaining regulatory documentation. Leading EHS related projects with planning, supervising & execution.

  • Development of short and long-term EHS objectives and goals with EHS improvement plan.
  • Ensures, maintains all compliance of EHS.
  • Planning, implementing, and managing technical performance of EHS related activities.
  • Conducting audits, identification of corrective action, preventive action, and its closure.
  • EHS related promotional activities like safety week, Environment Day & other campaign.
  • Prepare EHS related reports in hard & electronic form as per timeline.
  • Collaborates with senior site management & corporate team to develop and implement EHS program(s) to ensure compliance.
  • Represents the organization as a primary spokesperson with line management, program managers, technical staff, and outside representatives.
  • Promotes workplace safety, and assists in the development, maintenance, and management of EHS programs at the site(s), including proactive incident management, industrial hygiene contractor safety, and hazardous waste management.
  • Completes all statutory regulatory reporting requirements (GPCB, factory inspector).
  • Annual reports submission to the GPCB like Form – 5 & Form – 4 etc.
  • Manage central & contractor Safety Committee, fire drill, mock drill.
  • Manage all different EHS programs, conduct training and manage related documentation,
  • Reporting & investigate EHS observation, near miss, incident & accident and related CAPA compliance
  • Manage & perform quarterly safety walks through survey, cross function EHS audit with department leaders
  • Manage induction, toolbox & refresher EHS internal & external training.
  • Manage disposal of hazardous waste as per GPCB compliance.
  • Efficient operation of ETP as per GPCB & CETP requirement.
  • Manage EHS related team with inclusion of on role & off role staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and community representatives, to advocate for and advance EHS initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in EHS practices through innovative solutions and proactive management.
  • Identify and assess EHS risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect organizational assets and personnel.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective EHS training programs, fostering a culture of safety and compliance across the organization.
  • Skilled in managing diverse teams, providing clear direction, and supporting team members in achieving EHS goals.
  • Recognizes and utilizes individual strengths, fosters team collaboration
