Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Maharashtra seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer for the BIW shop. You will maintain welding equipment and drive reliability on IT spot welding guns, CO2 welding, and stud welding systems from Tucker in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will troubleshoot PLCs and automation networks, program and service robotic cells (Fanuc, KUKA, ABB), and enhance material handling with MES exposure. SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with BE in the role.
• 7+ years' experience with Diploma in Engineering.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment: IT spot welding guns, CO2 welding, stud welding.
• Operate and troubleshoot PLC & automation networks.
• Program and maintain robotic cells for welding, hemming & material handling.
• Troubleshoot and improve BIW material handling equipment.
• Exposure to MES and SAP knowledge is beneficial.

Job description

• Hands on experience of Maintaining Equipments like IT spot welding gun, CO2 welding , stud welding ( Tucker make ) used in BIW shop.
• Operation & trouble shooting of PLC & Automation devices with networking of Allen Bradley hardware with Rockwell software environment like RsLogix5000, RS studio, Drive Tools, Device-net ,Ether-Net etc.
• Programming & Maintenance of Robotic cell for welding, hemming & material handling application (Robots like Fanuc, KUKA, ABB ).
• Troubleshooting & improvements of BIW Material handling equipment like EMS, Conveyors, Lifts, Hoists, transfer system, power roller bed etc.
• Exposure to manufacturing Execution system (MES).
• Application of equipment performance improvement tool & knowledge of OHSAS & EMS.
• Knowledge of SAP
