Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. at the Chakan plant seeks a skilled professional to drive shop floor management and quality compliance. You will monitor daily targets, ensure adherence to schedules, and lead 5S and QMS activities to sustain high standards.

The role requires 3+ years of experience and qualifications in BE Mech or Diploma in Engg, enabling effective audits, NC closures, and continual improvement while maintaining safety and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality systems and shop floor oversight.
• Ability to implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of QMS, WSS, IPMS & QDMS processes.
• Experience conducting process audits and closing non-conformities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day targets and prioritize actions on the shop floor.
• Adhere to production schedules and training plans to upgrade skills.
• Conduct various process audits and close NCs promptly.
• Maintain QMS, WSS, 5S standards and related documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continual improvement in WSS, JH and 5S with safety in mind.
• Maintain OLE records and quickly address stoppages to minimize recurrence.
• Oversee shop floor management and timely disposal of nonconforming products.

• Daily Work Management- Monitor the set targets on a day to day basis effectively by managing priorities.

• Ensure timely actions for internal/external customer concerns and sustenance of the same.
• Adherence to production schedule
• Adherence to training plan to improve/upgrade skill level
• Conduct various process audits and closure of NC’s.
• Responsible for adhering to Quality Management systems, WSS, 5S, IPMS & QDMS
• Maintain QMS, prepare SOS, WSS documents & 5S standards.
• Identify scope for continual improvemet in WSS, JH & 5S along with maintaining safety at work.
• Maintain OLE records and restore minor stoppages & breakdowns quickly by ICA/PCA to minimize recurrence
• Shop Floor Management
• Timely disposal of non confirming products & scrap
