Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited seeks a seasoned professional to lead Administration and Facility Management in a manufacturing environment in Maharashtra. The role covers corporate services, security, housekeeping, transport, canteen, and statutory compliance, driving reliable workplace services and cost-efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in administration within manufacturing, with a track record of vendor management and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Facilities Management, or related discipline
  • MBA/PGDM in Administration, Operations Management, HR, or Supply Chain preferred
  • Certifications in Facility Management, Safety, Compliance, Vendor Management will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and sustain admin performance targets by ensuring efficient facility management, workplace services, security, housekeeping, transportation, and SQCDP objectives
  • Manage end-to-end administrative operations including facility management, vendor management, transport, housekeeping, canteen, security, statutory compliance, and employee support services
  • Drive proactive management of administrative resources, service providers, infrastructure, and support functions to minimize operational disruptions and costs
  • Establish and sustain robust admin systems, SOPs, compliance processes, asset management controls, and operational standards
  • Collaborate with HR, Production, Quality, Finance, EHS, and other departments to ensure seamless support services and timely issue resolution
  • Develop team capability through training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning while fostering accountability and service excellence
  • Implement Workplace Digitization, Facility Automation, Cost Optimization, Energy Management, Vendor Development, and Asset Tracking to enhance efficiency and employee experience

Job description

  1. Achieve and sustain Administration performance targets by ensuring efficient facility management, workplace services, security, housekeeping, transportation, and adherence to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity (SQCDP) objectives.
  2. Manage end-to-end administrative operations, including facility management, vendor management, transport, housekeeping, canteen, security, statutory compliance, and employee support services to ensure smooth business operations.
  3. Drive proactive management of administrative resources, service providers, infrastructure, and support functions to minimize operational disruptions, control costs, and enhance workplace efficiency.
  4. Establish and sustain robust administrative systems, SOPs, compliance processes, asset management controls, and operational standards to ensure reliability, governance, and operational excellence.
  5. Collaborate closely with HR, Production, Quality, Finance, EHS, and other departments to ensure seamless support services, timely issue resolution, compliance adherence, and continuous improvement in organizational performance.
  6. Develop team capability through functional training, multi-skilling, coaching, performance management, and succession planning while fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
  7. Implement and sustain Workplace Digitization, Facility Automation, Cost Optimization, Energy Management, Vendor Development, Asset Tracking Systems, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, employee experience, compliance, and overall administrative effectiveness.
Experience
  1. 5-10 years of experience in Administration, Facility Management, Corporate Services, or General Administration within Automotive, EV, Battery Manufacturing, Electronics, or related manufacturing industries.
  2. Proven experience in facility management, vendor management, transport administration, security, housekeeping, canteen operations, asset management, statutory compliance, and workplace services. Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, optimize administrative costs, ensure regulatory compliance, enhance employee experience, and lead cross‑functional teams to achieve administrative excellence.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  2. Postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM) in Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
  3. Relevant certifications in Facility Management, Safety, Compliance, Vendor Management, or Administration will be an added advantage.
