Job summary

Harman Finochem Limited, a leading Indian pharmaceutical company, seeks an experienced procurement professional (5–12 yrs) to join at Kalina, Santacruz East or Kurla West. You will source RM/PM/Solvents/KSM/Intermediates and align purchases with production plans and quality standards.

Responsibilities include vendor development, PR-to-PO conversion, planning and forecasting, MIS reporting, and regulatory/vendor qualification under ICH guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in API pharma industry; 5–12 years.
• Hands on SAP Hana experience.

M/s. Harman Finochem Limited is a leading India-based pharmaceutical company, established in 1983, with a strong presence in global markets. The company specializes in the manufacturing and export of 45+Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) such as Metformin HCl, Fenofibrate, Divalproex Sodium, Riboflavin Phosphate Sodium, Glycopyrrolate/Glycopyrronium Bromide, and more.

We operate two USFDA-approved manufacturing facilities at Shendra and Chikalthana, Aurangabad, along with an USFDA-approved Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing facility for contract manufacturing and development services. API R&D facility in Navi Mumbai.

As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding into specialty chemicals at Amravati and developing a new greenfield API manufacturing facility.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Commercial buying and Sourcing RM/PM/Solvents/KSM/Intermediates
  • a. Responsible for ensuring the procurement of RM/PM/Solvents as per production plan
  • b. Planning and procurement of material in line with the business plan.
  • c. Responsible for purchase of assigned raw materials and daily PR/PO fulfilment process.
  • d. Conversion of purchase requisition to purchase order in system for raw material and packaging material.
  • e. Vendor development and evaluation
• 2. Process Requirement.
  • a. Quote analysis before finalizing order by keeping proper inventory control along with approvals in place
  • b. Single point of contact for supplies to resolve issues pertaining to quality, delivery, Invoices and any other order related
• 3. Planning and Forecasting.
  • a. Safety stocks management to ensure zero down time in raw materials.
  • b. Coordinate with finance team for on time vendors payment.
  • c. Preparing MIS and other report monthly basis.
• 4. Regulatory and Quality
  • a. Timely Execution and Vendor qualification of Vendors
  • b. Regulator documentation in accordance with ICH guidelines of KSM and Intermediates
  • Procurement of all RMs as per laid down specifications and standard quality with valid documentation from suppliers

Preferred candidate profile

Experience : 5-12yrs of experience in API Pharma Industry

Qualification: Any Graduate with relevant Experience/ BSC/MSC

Hands on experience in SAP Hana
