Job description

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecasts.

Ensure the production plan matches machine capacity and manpower availability.

Create detailed schedules for each production line or machine.

Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure the schedule is followed.

Ensure raw materials, components, and consumables are available before production starts.

Coordinate with purchase and stores departments to avoid shortages.

Monitor raw material, WIP (Work-In-Progress), and finished goods inventory.

Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid overstock or stockouts.

Track actual production vs planned production.

Identify delays or bottlenecks and take corrective action.

6️⃣ Coordination with Departments

Work closely with:

• Production team
• Quality department
• Purchase / Supply chain
• Dispatch / Logistics

Analyze machine capacity and manpower utilization.

Plan additional shifts or overtime if required.

8️⃣ Data Analysis and Reporting

Prepare daily production reports and KPI dashboards.

Present performance reports to senior management.

Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Resolve issues related to production delays, material shortages, or scheduling conflicts.
