Job summary

Nivabupa is hiring for a Permanent role in Group Operations - B20 in India. The role oversees policy issuance processing, coordinating with underwriting and sales teams, driving SLA adherence and KPI improvements.

You will lead a team, optimize workflows, report to senior management and ensure IRDAI compliance, with a focus on accuracy, risk mitigation and automation-enabled efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Execute the entire policy issuance lifecycle, from application scrutiny to master policy document generation and dispatch.
• Ensure all policy applications are processed accurately and within SLAs and benchmarks.
• Coordinate with underwriting, sales, claims, Partner Onboarding, Finance and other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure seamless issuance.
• Develop and analyze KPIs related to policy issuance (turnaround time, error rates, volumes).
• Prepare MIS/regular reports for senior management on operational performance, trends and challenges.
• Address and resolve complex policy issuance queries and escalations from stakeholders.
• Close open debit/credit balances by coordinating with cross-functional teams within timelines.
• Support audit processes with documentation and reconciliations.
• Identify bottlenecks and explore automation for improved accuracy.
• Utilize technology and automation to optimize workflows.

Job Description

Ensuring efficient and accurate processing of B2O Group policy issuance, coordinating with underwriting and sales teams,maintaining IRDAI compliance, managing daily operational workflows, improvingservice levels, handling customer queries, and supervising a team to meetperformance goals. Key responsibilities include policy processing, team leadership,process optimization, reporting, risk mitigation, and compliance with companypolicies and regulations.
