Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain QA/QC labs in line with organization needs.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Set up, organize and update the quality assurance and quality control laboratories as per the need of the organization.
• Execute QA & QC activities at the site in order to achieve business targets and improve profitability
• Provide efficient, reliable & precise analytical services to the plant by adhering to lab SOPs and safe work practices in line with implemented lab quality system as per ISO standards.
• Execute analytical work to investigate root cause and help to resolve quality issues to ensure on-spec product all the time. Pin point quality exceptions or deviations to concern departments
• Ensure smooth functioning of lab instruments /equipment round the clock.
• Coordinates the investigation of all customer complaints and provides written documentation including root cause and corrective and preventative actions.
• Coordinate and supporting marketing department for customer quality surveys and audits of facility and product when customer plan audits.
• Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization
• Review, update, Implement & maintain quality related documentation.
• Writing technical and management system reports on regular interval.
• Pinpointing relevant quality-related training needs, Provide Training to QA/QC employee.
• Conduct on job training to analysts and new joiners for laboratory analytical work and SOPs.
• Ensure Quality related compliance with Local, national and company regulations/ standards.
• Schedule Management Review Meetings, to review the Quality System & Objectives.
• Reports on the performance including recommendations for improvements of the Quality System to Superior.
• Follow the work instructions of the Superior on need basis.
• Participating in hazard analysis, vulnerability assessment, and threat assessment activities
• Assisting in the development, implementation, and review of control measures
• Monitoring assigned food safety, food fraud, and food defense controls
• Maintaining relevant records and documentation
• Supporting the Team Leader during internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections

Preferred candidate profile

• Laboratory consumable/chemicals/ Maintenance procurement as per approved budget.
• To Signed Material Gate pass & Monthly bill.
• Manpower planning and their performance review as per approved organization chart.
• Supervising the programmed of internal auditing & continual improvement to product or services.
• Approval of Raw Material/Packing Materials/ Final Goods.
• Approval of QA & QC relevant procedures.
• Authority, responsibility and accountability for coordinating and implementing IMS, GMP, FSSC, Halal, Kosher in AFPL in line with requirement of the respective standard and its amendments.

• Previous experience in food/pharma manufacturing and clean-room environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control practices e.g. GMP, ISO Compliance, FSSC Compliance, Halal, Kosher, FSSAI
