PepsiCo Inc. seeks an experienced Quality Lab Manager to lead lab operations (Micro/Sensory/Analytical) and ensure strict GLP compliance and quality KPIs at our site in India. You will drive procedures, audits, and continual improvements across the QC functions.

The role requires a PG in Biotech/Chemistry/Food Tech with 5+ years in food manufacturing, preferably at an MNC, and hands-on experience with lab instruments and TrackWise.

Qualifikationen

• Postgraduate degree in Biotech/Chemistry or Food Technology.
• 5+ years in a food manufacturing plant, preferably MNC.
• Knowledge of Quality systems, GMP and Food Safety audits.

Aufgaben

• Oversee lab operations (Micro/Sensory/Analytical) per SOPs.
• Maintain 100% compliance to QPP, TM, SOP, IS and GLP.
• Analyze concentrate to required quality standards and monitor KPIs.
• Coordinate with production, stores and planning for smooth manufacturing.
• Ensure lab hygiene and GLP standards.
• Implement Quality procedures and SOPs from SC Quality Group.
• Lead the Non-Conformance Programme & site Trackwise.
• Ensure proficiency, water programme and external analyses.
• Liaise with external parties on QC matters.

Overview

The position will take care of the lab’s Quality control, FG and RM approvals, lab documentations, proficiency, productivity, complainces on GLP, Continual improvements. The Position is a key role in concentrate operations at site. The position is vital in review and implement the Product Quality testings, approavls and executing the policies and guidelines issued from SC. The position is part of middle Management team and is responsible to deliver key Quality and Food Safety KPIs of the site

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for lab operations (Micro/Sensory/Analytical) as laid down SOPs
• To maintain 100 % compliance to all QPP, TM, SOP, IS and GLP requirements related to lab.
• Ensure analysis of concentrate as per required specified quality standards & Monitor quality KPI s
• To co-ordinate with production, stores & planning to ensure smooth mfg. of concenterate.
• Ensure and maintain lab hygiene, housekeeping, sanitation and GLP standards.
• To ensure implementation of all Quality procedures and SOP s issued from the SC Quality Group.
• Lead the Non Conformance Programme & Lead site Trackwise
• Compliance to Proficiency programme/Water programme/external analysis
• Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the QC

Qualifications

• Minimum PG in Biotech/Chemistry /Food Technology. Sound knowledge of lab and instruments operations is important.
• Minimum of 5 years in a food manufacturing plant, preferably MNC. Knowledge on various chemical, biological and physical testing and water treatment process.
• Knowledge of Quality systems & Techniques, FSSC, Instrumentation, Budgets, GMP & Food Safety audits
