Job summary

GoWin Search LLC is seeking a Deputy General Manager – Operations in Mumbai to lead supply chain, warehouse operations, procurement, customer support, and logistics. The role requires regular travel to Jamnagar for oversight across locations and driving cost-effective operational excellence.

You will mentor heads of departments, build strong supplier relationships, and implement SOPs to enhance efficiency and service quality. Based in Andheri with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 20 to 22+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, warehouse management, procurement, and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and warehouse operations.
• Experience in managing large teams and leading cross-functional operations.
• Hands-on ERP experience with SAP, WMS, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with MIS reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage warehouse, procurement, customer connect, and supply chain functions daily.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain including procurement, inventory planning, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Warehouse, Purchase, Customer Connect, and Supply Chain functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory planning, warehouse management, logistics, and order fulfilment.
• Ensure customer orders are processed, dispatched, and delivered on time.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain the right stock to meet business needs.
• Improve warehouse efficiency and optimise inventory movement.
• Develop plans to reduce slow-moving and excess inventory.
• Manage domestic and import procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate better pricing and service terms.
• Oversee logistics operations and identify opportunities to reduce transportation and warehouse costs.
• Prepare and review MIS reports related to sales, inventory, procurement, logistics, supply chain, and operational performance.
• Use data and business trends to improve supply chain planning and decision-making.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) across operations and supply chain.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational excellence across the supply chain.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and senior leadership to achieve business goals.
• Mentor department heads and build a high-performance culture.
• Travel regularly from Mumbai to Gujarat to oversee operations, coordinate with teams, vendors, and business partners, and ensure smooth execution across locations.
