Job summary

Aarti Pharmalabs is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical equipment and plant instrumentation across a manufacturing setup.

You will manage PLC/SCADA/DCS/HMI systems, ensure safety compliance, and drive energy-efficiency initiatives while leading maintenance teams and coordinating with operations to improve plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing or process industry.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, VFDs, HT/LT systems, and industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all electrical equipment.
• Ensure reliable operation of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, motors, generators, and power distribution systems.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.

• Manage maintenance and calibration of field instruments, analyzers, sensors, transmitters, control valves, and weighing systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
• Optimize process control systems to improve plant performance.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of instrumentation through regular calibration.
