Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Mumbai seeks an experienced Production Engineer to oversee housing machining cell operations, ensuring daily production and schedule adherence.

You will lead manpower and machine planning, troubleshoot machining processes and drive TPM/5S/Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity and quality.

Candidates should hold BE/BTech in Automobile/Production or related fields with 2–7 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile, Production or related fields.
Engineering graduates with knowledge of manufacturing processes.
2–7 years experience in machining/production environments.

Responsibilities

Efficient management of production operations of Housing machining cell.
Production planning and sequencing to achieve daily production plan and schedule adherence.
Manpower & machines planning.
Machining process troubleshooting.
Responsible for tool cost reduction as per set targets.
Ensure quality improvements by reducing rework/ rejection/ throwback.
Strong focus on Daily work Management.
Drive TPM, 5S, KAIZEN initiatives.
Maintain shop floor discipline and ensure adherence to safe working practices.
Regular interaction with SQA, PPC, Maintenance and Quality to deliver targets.
Adhere to TS16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
Process development and improvement to boost Productivity, Quality, Delivery and reduce Cost.

Efficient management of production operations of Housing machining cell.
Production Planning and sequencing to achieve daily production plan, for optimum output and daily schedule adherence.
Manpower & machines/stages planning.
Machining Process trouble shooting
Responsible for tool cost reduction as per set targets
Ensure quality improvements by reducing rework/ Rejection/ throwback
Strong focus on "Daily work Management"
Drive and implement management systems and initiatives such as TPM, 5s, KAIZEN.
Good industrial relations to ensure harmonious work environment and maintain good ER and develop the skill of the associates.
Maintain shop floor discipline and ensure adherence to safe working practices
Ensure safety procedures are followed at all levels and good housekeeping levels are maintained
Regular interaction with SQA, PPC, Maintenance and Quality to deliver the Production and Quality targets.
Ensuring system adherance under TS16949, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
Responsible for process development and improvement in the existing processes for improving the Productivity, Quality, Delivery and reducing Cost with high customer centric approach.
