Job summary

Moodys Analytics in Gurugram is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead private markets research and fundraising support. You will oversee teams, manage client deliverables, and ensure high-quality analytics and strategic insights for institutional investors.

You will coordinate competitive intelligence, market studies, fund benchmarking, and investor presentations, while guiding senior stakeholders across private equity and alternative investments.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in private markets research and analytics (fund benchmarking, fundraising strategy support, LP/mandate screening).
• Hands-on experience with financial databases (Preqin, eVestment, Bloomberg).
• Familiarity with private equity/hedge fund strategies and various fund types.

Responsibilities

• Lead competitive intelligence, peer screening, and fund benchmarking to evaluate fundraising strategies and terms for private markets clients.
• Conduct in-depth market research to develop actionable insights, case studies, and strategic recommendations.
• Analyze LP preferences, capital flows, and fundraising trends to identify investor targeting opportunities.
• Develop and review high-impact client deliverables (pitchbooks, presentations, fund summaries, benchmarking reports).
• Support fund economics and strategy assessment models (fees, expenses, profitability, capital flow analyses).
• Present findings to clients and senior management, acting as a trusted partner to private equity and alternative investment firms.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality and professional standards through rigorous review.

Job Purpose

We are looking fordedicated and motivated individuals with strong leadership, organisational andteamwork skills for their Private Markets team based in Gurugram

Key Responsibilities

• Leadcompetitive intelligence, peer screening, and fund benchmarking initiatives toevaluate fundraising strategies, fund performance, positioning, terms, feestructures, and key differentiators across the private markets landscape.
• Conductin-depth market, industry, and thematic research to develop actionableinsights, opportunity assessments, case studies, and strategic recommendationssupporting fundraising and business development efforts.
• AnalyzeLP preferences, mandate opportunities, capital flows, and fundraising trends toidentify investor targeting opportunities and support capital formationstrategies.
• Developand review high-impact client deliverables, including pitchbooks, investorpresentations, consultant decks, fund summaries, competitive analyses,newsletters, and other marketing materials tailored to institutional investors.
• Supportthe development and enhancement of fund economics and strategy assessmentmodels, including fee, expense, profitability, commitment, and capital flowanalyses.
• Presentfindings, market intelligence, and strategic insights to clients, seniormanagement, and investment professionals, while serving as a trusted partner tosenior stakeholders across private equity and alternative investment firms.
• Ensure excellence in deliverable quality throughrigorous review processes, analytical validation, and adherence to the highestprofessional and client service standards.

Key Competencies

• 6-10 years of experience in privatemarkets research and analytics, including fund benchmarking, fundraisingstrategy support, LP and mandate screening, market intelligence, performanceanalysis, fund economics review, investor presentation development, andpreparation of strategic insights for senior investment professionals andinstitutional investors.
• Hands on experience in usingfinancial databases (Preqin, eVestment, Fundmap, Bloomberg etc.)
• Strong understanding of various typesof funds (evergreen/ open /close ended) and strategies employed by privateequity / hedge funds
• Team leadership and client handlingskills
• CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA from atop tier business school
• Strong analytical, written and verbalcommunication skills and experience in client relationship management
• Ability to work effectively under tightdeadlines.
