You will mentor analysts, drive data quality, manage FOIA data, and collaborate with Cyprus and other locations on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience 5+ years in data operations, financial data management, or private markets.
• 2+ years in team leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong experience with private markets data (funds, holdings, cash flows).
• Proficiency with FOIA processes and regulatory data sources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data management & operations for private markets funds in the client database.
• Create new private markets funds and companies in the database.
• Process emails with document attachments; read documents and extract data.
• Handle large FOIA-sourced data and translate PDFs to Excel data.
• Match funds to regulatory files, validate data, and upload to client systems.
• Maintain data integrity and file fund documents in client systems.
• Coordinate with clients, India manager, and Cyprus team on data submissions.
• Mentor analysts, monitor quality KPIs, and support team expansion.

Job Summary & Purpose

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Team Lead to oversee private markets data operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of fund and company data in our client database. This role combines hands-on data management. With team leadership, requiring strong analytical skills, process expertise, and the ability to coordinate with global stakeholders including clients and senior leadership in cyprus.

Accountabilities: Key Responsibilities Data Management & Operations

• Update various data fields relating to private markets funds in the client's database, ranging from basic cash flows to complex holdings information
• Create new private markets funds and companies in the database when required
• Process emails with document attachments; read documents and extract relevant data
• Process large volumes of data sourced through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
• Translate data from PDF documents to Excel spreadsheets
• Match funds to regulatory files and codes
• Process Excel templates with large quantities of data; validate for errors and upload to client systems
• File fund-related documents in client systems and reflect data in the database as necessary
• Ensure accuracy of all data entered into the system
• Maintain integrity of data captured in the client database

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Send requests and coordinate with clients regarding registration requirements to enable data submission
• Monitor client alerts for changes made by registered users on fund and company data; verify validity
• Correspond with India manager and team in cyprus
• Participate in regular calls with client staff members in other global locations (primarily cyprus)
• Maintain extensive knowledge of internal systems and conduct active testing for bugs

Team Leadership & Management

• Manage and lead a team, ensuring operational efficiency and smooth process flow
• Maintain team productivity and monitor workflow optimization
• Mentor senior analysts for process reviews and quality assurance
• Screen and interview potential candidates for team expansion
• Coordinate cross-functionally with company departments for team requirements and resource allocation
• Take on ad-hoc projects as assigned

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare and maintain statistics and tracking listings for internal and external usage
• Monitor team performance metrics and data quality KPIs

Requirements

Other Requirements:

• Experience 5+ years of experience in data operations, financial data management, or private markets
• 2+ years of experience in team leadership or supervisory roles
• Strong experience with private markets data (funds, holdings, cash flows)
• Proficiency in FOIA processes and regulatory data sources (preferred)

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, data validation, macros)
• Proficiency with database management systems
• Experience with data extraction from PDFs and document processing
• Strong familiarity with internal CRM/data systems
• MS Office Suite proficiency
