Job summary

Acuity Knowledge Partners is seeking an experienced KYC/Onboarding professional to manage KYC operations for Private Equity and Hedge Funds. The role focuses on delivering compliant KYC processes and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to collate documents and respond to fund requirements.

The candidate will handle inbound/reverse KYC, prepare questionnaires and letters, and generate MIS reports while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance for UK-shift operations in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 4-12 years’ experience with Private Equity Funds / Hedge Funds.
• Exposure to Funds domiciled in Luxembourg, Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands.
• Excellent understanding of different kinds of legal entities.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical and judgement skills.
• Proven record in client interactions.

Job description

Job Purpose:

This position will be responsible for delivery of KYC operations related to Private Equity / Hedge Funds.

The process will include:

• Inbound / Reverse KYC
• Assessing requests received from 3rd party funds / administrators and coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders to
• Collate all the KYC documents

The individual will work in close partnership with the operations teams to ensure accurate and complete data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

UK Shift

Key responsibilities:

• Very strong understanding of legal entity structures and applicable underlying KYC/AML documentation requirements
• Coordinate with multiple teams to i) source and ii) prepare necessary questionnaires and letters
• Prepare MIS reports and documentation related to the tasks.

Interact with the customer and discuss the outputs.

Mandatory requirements

• 4-12 years’ experience with Private Equity Funds / Hedge Funds, with strong hands-on experience in handling all operations)
• Mandatory exposure to Funds domiciled in Luxembourg, Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands
• Excellent understanding of different kinds of legal entities
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical and judgement skills
• Proven record in client interactions
• Strong Reporting skills (MIS for operational statistics)
