Qualifications

• Must have direct experience in designing and maintaining a chart of accounts for fund structures, across assets, liabilities, equity, income and expenses.
• Experience in design and implementation of financial accounting and internal control systems.
• Familiarity with various accounting systems.
• Knowledge of international standards and regulatory requirements for Accounting and Reporting.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as the system owner/sponsor for the company’s accounting and reporting system.
• Prepare and perform the review of financial data and preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external purposes.
• Provide support to other departments and managers in Finance and payments.
• Deal with internal and external auditors and supply relevant information.
• Coordinate with service provider team on finance matters to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethics to safeguard sensitive information.
• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory and internal policies (AML/CTF, sanctions, data protection, fraud control, whistleblowing, conflicts).

Job Description

Theincumbent will have the day to day responsibility for Clients CorporateAccounting & Reporting function for companies and SPCs, mainly incorporatedin Cayman, along with overseeing the activities, outputs and processesincluding all relevant financial statements.

Fund Accountant will also have a strongfoundation in financial accounting as applied to investment management.

Musthave direct experience in designing and maintaining a chart of accounts forfund structures, with a clear understanding of how accounts are organizedacross assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses at the fund entitylevel.

• Act as the system owner/sponsor for thecompany’s accounting and reporting system.
• - Prepare and perform the review of financialdata and preparation of financial statements and reports for both internal andexternal purposes and do accounting and reporting problem resolution consistentwith strategic objectives of Company and in accordance with generally acceptedaccounting principles, applicable regulations, and company policies andprocedures.
• - Prepare various financial reports as requiredfrom time to time.
• - Providing support to other departments andmanagers in the matters of Finance and payments.
• - Deal with internal and external auditors andsupply relevant information.
• - Work closelywith the members of the serviceprovider team on Finance related matters to ensure smooth coordination inday-to-day functioning and achievement of role objectives.
