Job summary

Nisum is seeking an experienced Delivery Head to spearhead engineering delivery for retail clients in Hyderabad. You will lead end-to-end software delivery, modernization initiatives, and AI-enabled engineering while engaging CXOs to drive strategic transformations.

The role requires deep delivery governance, significant client-facing leadership, and a track record of growing large accounts through innovative solutions and partnerships with engineering, sales, and cloud practice leaders.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT services, digital engineering, or technology consulting.
• Strong retail domain knowledge with enterprise customers.
• Proven Java/J2EE development and engineering delivery.
• Experience managing DevOps, modernization, and managed services engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage CXO relationships, grow accounts, and drive revenue expansion.
• Solid understanding of AI/GenAI applications in software engineering and automation.
• Strong delivery governance, commercial management, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with fixed-price, managed services, and outcome-based engagements is preferred.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Head to lead engineering delivery for our retail customers, drive delivery excellence, strengthen executive relationships, and grow existing accounts.

The role will oversee custom application development, application modernization, DevOps and managed services, and AI-enabled engineering and solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technology delivery expertise with a sound understanding of the retail business, the ability to engage with CXOs, and a proven track record of account farming and revenue growth.

This is a client-facing leadership role requiring close collaboration with customer stakeholders, engineering teams, sales, presales, and technology practices to deliver business outcomes and expand strategic customer relationships.
