Job summary

TRooInbound Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Head of Delivery in Ahmedabad, India (on-site) to own end-to-end client engagements from SOW to renewal. This new leadership role scales AI-led, multi-system programs and makes delivery the business owner rather than a pure function.

You will manage the delivery P&L, operating model, and the managers who run accounts, collaborating with the CEO on relationships and business, and with the CTO on architecture and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT services or product engineering services.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Head of Delivery owns every client engagement from signed SOW to renewal: scope, schedule, quality, margin and client satisfaction. This is a new leadership role, created to give our portfolio a single accountable owner as we scale AI‑led and multi‑system programs.

You will run delivery as a business, not a reporting function. You own the delivery P&L, the delivery operating model, and the managers who run our accounts. You collaborate with the CEO, who owns client relationships and new business, and with the CTO, who owns technology strategy, architecture standards and engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Portfolio and P&L

• Own delivery revenue, gross margin and utilization across all active engagements.
• Run monthly portfolio reviews covering health, burn, forecast, risk and margin for every account.
• Approve staffing plans and resource allocation across fixed-price, time‑and‑materials and dedicated‑team models.
• Cut revenue leakage: unbilled effort, scope creep, bench cost and write‑offs.

Delivery operating model

• Define and enforce one delivery framework: governance cadence, status reporting, change control, RAID management and release readiness.
• Set delivery KPIs and make them visible to leadership weekly.
• Embed AI‑assisted delivery practices (planning, estimation, testing, documentation) in collaboration with the CTO.
• Act as the senior escalation point for delivery issues and recover at‑risk programs.
• Run delivery‑side steering committees and quarterly reviews with client stakeholders, alongside the CEO.
• Turn delivery performance into expansion: surface phase‑2 and adjacent opportunities to the CEO.
• Validate scope, estimates, team shape and delivery risk on every proposal and SOW before it is signed.
• Join solutioning calls for large or high‑risk deals.

People and leadership

• Lead, hire and develop delivery and project managers; build a bench of account‑level leaders.
• Run performance reviews and succession planning for the delivery organization.
• Work with HR and practice heads on capacity planning, skills mix and hiring forecasts.

Quality and compliance

• Ensure delivery meets security and compliance obligations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 where applicable) and client audit requirements.
• Run post‑mortems on failed milestones and drive the fixes into the framework.

Requirements

• 10+ years in IT services or product engineering services, with 6+ years leading delivery across multiple concurrent client accounts.
• Has owned a delivery organization of 150+ engineers.
• Direct P&L accountability: has been measured on margin and utilization, not only on schedule.
• Has run fixed‑price, time‑and‑materials and dedicated‑team engagements and can explain where each one loses money.
• Has delivered for enterprise clients in the US, UK, Europe or Middle East, including C‑level stakeholder management.
• Has turned around at least one failing program; can describe what was changed and the result.
• Hands‑on with delivery governance: estimation, change control, RAID, SOW review and resource planning tools.
• Technical enough to challenge an architecture or estimate; engineering background strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.

Nice to have

• Delivery leadership on AI/ML, GenAI or data engineering programs taken to production.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite or HubSpot implementation programs.
• Delivery for regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences or BFSI.
• PMP, PgMP or equivalent; an MBA is a plus, not a substitute for delivery track record.
• Has built a PMO or delivery excellence function from scratch.
