Primary Skills
General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Lead strategic P2P and Vendor debit (vendor claims, rebates, ACOP entries) operations, transformation, drive operational excellence, and deliver high-impact finance solutions.
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring client satisfaction, SLA/KPI adherence, and strategic alignment with business and compliance objectives; improve cost, accuracy, and service levels.
- Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives using ERP and procurement technologies, developing methodologies tailored to evolving client needs.
- Lead and disrupt traditional frameworks through the application of Transformation and Innovation Office (TIO) principles and change-management methodologies.
- Identify and pursue business transformation opportunities, craft winning proposals, and facilitate board-level workshops and strategic sessions with clients.
- Build and maintain high-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and transformation partner.
- Lead and empower a global P2P team, driving innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement; foster strategic stakeholder partnerships.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and ethical standards across P2P and Vendor debit by upholding company-defined controls, managing risk, and conducting proactive audits.
Secondary Skills
Qualifications (Education/Experience/Certification):
- Masters degree in accounting or graduate with CA/ICWA inter or related field.
- Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.
- 17+ years of relevant experience in accounting cycle with expertise in cost optimisation; at least 10 years in a leadership or service delivery role within a global or shared services environment.
- Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or CPA advantageous; strong proficiency in ERP, SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or Oracle Cloud essential.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, accounting cycle, intercompany accounting principles, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4/HANA and reconciliation tools).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Strong service‑delivery orientation with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Technology awareness and adaptability to evolving financial systems and tools.
