Job summary

V Konnect is seeking a seasoned banking professional to support loan syndication, project finance, and deal structuring. You will collaborate with Relationship Management to ensure policy compliance and manage risk across regulatory and internal controls.

Key duties include developing deal structures, negotiating terms, scanning market opportunities, and participating in departmental audits to identify gaps and drive corrective action.

Qualifications

• Experience in loan syndication and project finance.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Relationship Management groups to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Implement policies and processes, including operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks, to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
• Develop and maintain internal control systems within the department to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Participate in departmental audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions and practices to address gaps identified during departmental audits, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
• Continuous scanning of loan syndication opportunities in the sector in close co-ordination with the Banks relationship and credit team
• Identify Groups for underwriting
• Develop deal structures and negotiate terms in line with prevailing market dynamics
