Infosys Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Datastage Developer with 3-5 years of experience to design and implement large-scale data integration pipelines using DataStage and related ETL technologies.

You will collaborate with data architects, participate in Agile delivery, and optimize ETL performance while adhering to SDLC. Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and cloud data services is a plus.

Formación

• At least 3+ years of experience designing and developing large scale, distributed data processing pipelines using Datastage technologies.
• Proficient in Datastage ETL batch processing and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with UNIX shell scripting for scheduling/running jobs.
• Familiarity with Cloud Pak for Data is a plus and SDLC/agile exposure.

Responsibilities

• At least 3+ years of experience in designing and developing large scale, distributed data processing pipelines using Datastage related technologies.
• Having expertise in Datastage ETL Batch processing
• Expericence with Data warehousing and ETL concepts and techniques
• UNIX shell scripting will be an added advantage in scheduling/running application jobs.
• Experience with cloud pak for data will be added advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in Project development life cycle activities and development/maintenance projects
• Work with business stakeholders and other SMEs to understand high level business requirements.
• Work with the Solution Designers and contribute to the development of project plans by participating in the scoping and estimating of proposed project.
• Apply technical background understanding, business knowledge, system knowledge in the elicitation of Systems Requirements for projects.
• Work in an Agile environment and participation in scrum daily standups, sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
• Understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions which meets the project quality standards
• Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment and collaborate with upstream/downstream functional teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
• Strong problem solving and Good Analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends in Development.

Additional Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to optimize ETL performance through efficient design, parallelism, and tuning approaches within DataStage/InfoSphere environments.
• Experience driving quality practices such as reusable frameworks, standardized templates, and review checklists to improve consistency and speed of delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills—able to clarify requirements, communicate risks, and align delivery plans with business priorities.
