Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced DataStage Developer with 6-12 years in ETL development and data integration. You will design, develop, and maintain IBM DataStage-based solutions, build ETL workflows, and work across data warehousing initiatives.

Strong SQL skills and Unix shell scripting are essential, with exposure to CP4D considered a plus. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and drive performance tuning and production

Qualifications

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution designers, and development teams to build scalable and high‑quality data integration solutions.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large‑scale data integration solutions using IBM DataStage.
• Build and support ETL batch processing solutions.
• Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows.
• Work on Data Warehousing and data integration projects.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and project teams.
• Support project estimation, planning, and delivery activities.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues.t
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure development follows quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to resolve data‑related issues.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 6-12 years of experience in DataStage development.
• Strong expertise in IBM DataStage ETL development.
• Excellent SQL programming skills.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
• Experience working in large‑scale enterprise projects.
• Knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting.
• Exposure to CP4D (Cloud Pak for Data) is an added advantage.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain preferred.
