Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Database Specialist to design, optimize, and manage high-performance database solutions for large-scale applications.

You will leverage AWS Aurora/RDS, S3, Python, and FastAPI to build scalable data services, implement secure, observable systems, and optimize costs while ensuring reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in database design and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Aurora, RDS, and S3.
• Proficiency in Python for data tooling and automation.
• Experience with FastAPI for API-backed data services.
• Experience with distributed SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to model data entities and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Model data entities and relationships for scalable solutions.
• Design scalable solutions using Amazon Aurora and AWS RDS.
• Optimize performance with indexing and query tuning.
• Implement secure, self-healing systems with rollback strategies.
• Develop FastAPI-based high-performance APIs.
• Write Python utilities, procedures, and triggers.
• Monitor DB health and observability.
• Estimate and optimize AWS service costs.
• Own DevOps and release management for databases.
• Collaborate with app teams to integrate data APIs.

• Monitor DB health, identify bottlenecks, and ensure observability & maintainability.
• Estimate and optimize AWS service costs .

• Collaborate with application teams to integrate backend and data APIs.

Good to Have:

• Experience with MySQL & PostgreSQL .
