Job summary

Geojit, Kochi, is seeking a senior Database Administrator with 10-15 years of relevant experience to manage enterprise databases in production environments.

You will optimize performance, implement high availability, and lead migrations and upgrades, while building automation and monitoring solutions to ensure reliability.

This on-site role requires deep expertise across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL, with a track record of delivering stable, scalable database platforms.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of database administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proven experience supporting production environments.
• Extensive knowledge of backup/recovery, performance tuning, replication and high availability.

• Strong expertise in enterprise database platforms such as:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
• Proven experience supporting application and production environments.
• Strong knowledge of database architecture, performance tuning, backup and recovery, replication, and high availability.
• Experience with database migration, upgrades, automation, and monitoring tools.
• Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise database systems.
• Work location: Kochi. Immediate joiners will be preferred.
