Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a Data Quality Engineer in Gurugram to optimize data flows, ensure accuracy of master data, and support data standards across global processes. You will work with business and IT stakeholders to define and enforce data quality, participate in process definitions, and communicate data decisions effectively.

The role requires strong analytical skills, solid experience with Excel, SQL, and BI tools, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a newly established

Job Description

• Data gathering / upload / maintenance: Optimizing the data gathering / data flow process between Kuehne + Nagel and external partners, as well as within Kuehne + Nagel internally
• Automated order processing: Focus on complete and correct order data
• Event monitoring: Focus on complete and correct master data
• Proactive milestone management: Focus on master data accuracy
• Identify the most important data (key business data elements) and define meaning, data quality- and business rules together with business, IT and data management stakeholders
• Support the global- and functional process owners and global head of data management in documenting data (quality) standards and processes, and the harmonization of those standards between the KN business processes/services, departments and customers
• Coordinate business requirements and requests specific to the stewarded data business area, and assess impacts related to data change requests
• Participate in conflict resolution around different uses and understanding of data
• Work with the business to define and validate acceptable levels of data quality
• Participate in process and standard definition
• Ensure that business users have a practical understanding of the data, that data decisions are communicated and that business users understand the impact, to ensure consistency of data usage and share best practices
