Volvo Group in Bengaluru seeks a Data Manager for the Data Availability team to own MDM governance and IDMC maintenance using Informatica IDMC. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability across Volvo's digital products, supporting rollouts and product teams.
The role requires hands-on IDMC experience, Azure familiarity, and agile practices. You will train teams, define policies, and partner with vendors to enable Volvo's data-driven transport vision.

Data’ is a function within Volvo Digital Technology & Operations with the goal to unlock the power of data for the full Volvo Group to become a fully data-driven company! With data as the core component of our transformation journey, we will, together with our data talents, make the Volvo Group 2030 vision happen. We will take care of all aspects of Data, including quality assurance, documentation, availability, preparation, and use through BI, Analytics, and Machine Learning supporting the organization with AI implementation process. We have an ambitious transformation ahead, with the implementation of the Data Layer in Azure and the reinforcement of Data Governance and Data Management across the entire Group.
As a Data Management Tool Expert focusing on MDM in the Data Availability organization, you will be managing capabilities of Data Management Tool (Informatica IDMC) to support the full Volvo Group in collaboration different stakeholders and handle the technical maintenance & support of the same. This work is typically done for large, complex data topics as part of our roll‑out initiatives and product teams. It is important that you bring broad knowledge and experience from working with Data Governance & Management topics and data management tools and, ideally, automotive industry to provide solutions and recommendations that will improve data proficiency and long‑lasting success in the business.
The ‘Data’ function is a large multicultural organization with 600+ employees and contractors located mainly in 7 countries: Sweden, Poland, India, Belgium, Brazil, USA, and France.
