Job summary

Kshema General Insurance Limited is seeking a Data Governance Leader to drive enterprise-wide governance initiatives, develop SOPs, and align policies across business and technology teams.

The role focuses on fostering data accountability, quality, and regulatory compliance, collaborating with data owners, stewards, and IT, and overseeing governance tools implementation and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption and implementation of enterprise-wide data governance policies and SOPs.
• Ensure governance practices are supported by appropriate tools and technologies.
• Maintain the Data Governance Framework Handbook with up-to-date policies and SOPs.
• Communicate updates to the Data Governance Council and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and custodians to define and implement governance policies.
• Facilitate resolution of data-related issues and support rollout of governance practices.
• Partner with Product Managers and IT teams to align governance tools with policies.
• Oversee deployment and integration of governance tools across the enterprise.
• Organize and conduct regular Data Governance Council meetings.
• Track and publish data governance KPIs to leadership and audiences.
• Lead cross-functional working groups to resolve governance issues.

Job Description

The Data Governance Leader is a strategic anddetail-oriented professional responsible for leading enterprise-wide datagovernance initiatives. This role involves the development, maintenance, andpromotion of data governance policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs),and frameworks, ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders.The incumbent plays a key role in fostering a culture of data accountability,quality, and compliance throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
