Job summary

Swiggy Instamart is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Dark Store in Hyderabad. You will lead a team, plan rosters, manage inventory and coordinate inbound & dispatch activities to ensure smooth store performance.

Key responsibilities include overseeing First Mile and Last Mile operations, supervising pickers and packers, and generating daily reports on attendance, productivity and SLA adherence. Strong communication and MS Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in Store Operations, Dark Store, Warehouse, E-commerce or similar

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Instamart Dark Store.
• Handle First Mile operations including inbound, put-away and inventory accuracy.
• Manage Last Mile operations, order dispatch and rider coordination.
• Lead and manage pickers, packers and supervisors.
• Prepare and manage employee rosters according to business demand.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, shrinkage and replenishment.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of frozen, chilled and temperature-sensitive products.
• Monitor and maintain freezer/chiller temperature as per SOP.
• Conduct regular audits for product quality and shelf-life.
• Prepare daily operational reports related to attendance, productivity, shrinkage and SLA.
• Coordinate with HR, Supply Chain, Central Operations and Last Mile teams.
• Handle escalations and ensure SOP compliance.
• Ensure high order accuracy and minimum order delays.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Store Operations, Dark Store, Warehouse, E-commerce, Retail or similar operations.
• Strong experience in team handling and roster planning.
• Hands-on experience in inventory management.
• Experience in inbound, dispatch, fulfillment or last-mile operations preferred.
• Knowledge of cold-chain/freezer/chiller operations is preferred.
• Good communication and email-writing skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
