Job summary

NEXUS CONSULTING SOLUTIONS in Bengaluru is seeking a student counsellor to act as the first point of contact for academic and administrative queries. You will coordinate between students and university departments and track progress toward program requirements.

You will handle calls, emails, and chats, support semester-related inquiries, and help drive student satisfaction and program completion while escalating issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Post-graduation in Management, Commerce, Journalism, Computer Applications, IT or related streams.
• Experience in student counselling or academic process is preferred.
• Knowledge of CRM / ticketing systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for students and address academic & administrative queries.
• Coordinate between students and university departments.
• Track students' academic progress, submissions, and course requirements.
• Handle inbound & outbound calls, emails, and chats.
• Support students with semester and subject-related queries.
• Ensure timely completion of academic requirements.
• Drive student satisfaction, re-registration, and program completion.
• Identify escalation priority issues while ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain MIS, reports, and student records using Excel & PPT.
• Work closely with internal teams, faculty, and SMEs.
