Job summary

Balajee Group invites an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to oversee EPC mining projects focusing on crushing, screening, and material handling. Qualifications

• Experience in mining EPC projects and crushing/screening plants.
• Ability to review mechanical/structural drawings, GA, datasheets, specs, vendor drawings and ITP.
• Hands-on experience with erection, alignment, commissioning at site.
• Coordination with client, EPC contractor, OEMs and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with rotating equipment including gearboxes, pumps, compressors and fans.

• Lead mechanical engineering and execution of EPC projects related to mining, crushing, screening and material handling.
• Review drawings, datasheets, specifications, STAAD/structural documents, vendor drawings, QAP/ITP and technical offers.
• Technical review and execution of hammer mills, crushers, screens, feeders, conveyors, hoppers and chutes.
• Manage erection, installation, alignment and commissioning at project sites.
• Coordinate with client, EPC contractor, OEMs, vendors, civil/structural, electrical and instrumentation teams.
• Conduct vendor evaluation, drawing review, inspection, troubleshooting and technical finalization.
• Ensure project execution per drawings, specifications, quality, safety, cost and schedule.
• Good Experience in Crushing & screening Plants with EPC Projects Knowledge.

Role & responsibilities

Lead mechanical engineering, technical review and execution of EPC projects related to mining, crushing, screening and raw material handling.

Review mechanical & structural drawings, GA, datasheets, specifications, STAAD/structural documents, vendor drawings, QAP/ITP and technical offers.

Technical review and execution of Hammer Mill, Jaw/Cone/Impact/Crushers, Screens, Feeders, Conveyors, Hoppers, Chutes and other material handling equipment.

Manage mechanical & structural erection, equipment installation, alignment and commissioning at project sites.

Handle rotating equipment including Gearboxes, Gear Motors, Couplings, Bearings, Centrifugal Pumps, Compressors, Fans/Blowers and Hydraulic Systems.

Supervise drive alignment, shaft/coupling alignment, lubrication, trial runs, commissioning and performance testing.

Coordinate with Client, EPC contractor, OEMs, vendors, civil/structural, electrical and instrumentation teams.

Conduct vendor technical evaluation, drawing review, inspection, troubleshooting and technical finalization.

Ensure project execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality, safety, cost and project schedule.

Preferred candidate profile :

Good Experience in Crushing & screening Plants with EPC Projects Knowledge.
