Aavishka Shipping is hiring a Crewing Assistant in Mumbai to support our documentation and crewing operations team. The primary role involves collecting, verifying, and maintaining crew documents as required by MLC, STCW, and other standards.

The ideal candidate should have experience in offshore or marine documentation, with a strong focus on attention to detail, effective organizational, and communication skills. You will assist in preparing vital crew documentation, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.

Job description

• We are hiring a Crewing Assistant to support our documentation and crewing operations team.
• The primary role involves collecting, verifying, and maintaining crew documents as per MLC, STCW, ARAMCO, ADNOC, and client requirements.
• Responsibilities include preparing and updating crew files, certificates, and compliance records, ensuring timely renewal of expiring documents and following up with crew, assisting in preparing SEA, joining documents, visa applications, medicals, and travel papers, and coordinating with Crewing and Sourcing teams for mobilization.
• You will maintain accurate digital and physical documentation systems and ensure 100% accuracy and professionalism in all documentation processes.

Requirements

• Experience in offshore/marine documentation preferred; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; good communication and follow-up abilities; ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks; knowledge of maritime compliance standards is an advantage.
