Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team in India is seeking an operations associate to support banking transactions, cash allocation, and reconciliation processes. You will assist the team with immediate queries and ensure accurate payment processing.

The role involves preparing MI reports, monthly SLA data, and adhering to company policies while maintaining high customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual payment processing and cash flow management.
• Understanding of bank reconciliation and debit/credit clearances.
• Ability to provide timely solutions to customer queries.
• Experience creating MI reports and SLA data monthly.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Understand bank transactions and allocate cash in system to support the team’s queries.
• Handle manual payment processing, returns, cash flow and retail reconciliation.
• Create MI reports on time and monthly SLA data.
• Take prompt action on stop/reinstate cheque requests and lodge financial debits/credits.
• Process payments precisely as requested.
• Understand write-offs, offsets, partial cash allocations, commission adjustments and reversals.
• Understand customer queries and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure transaction quality meets predefined parameters.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Understand bank reconciliation, open items, debits and credits.
• Focus on customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution.

Job description

• Able to understand the nature of transaction in the bank and allocation cash in system and help team for their immediate query
• Should be able to handle the process of Manual payment processing, return payments and cash flow & retail reconciliation
• Should be able to create all MI reporting on time along with monthly creations of SLA data.
• Able to promptly take action for Stop or reinstate cheque request, transfer Lodgments Debits/Credits.
• Payment processing as per request received with utmost accuracy
• Understand of write offs, offsets and partial allocation of cash, commission adjustments in systems and its reversal
• Ability to understand the nature of query from customer and able to provide a solution withing a short timeframe.
• Ensure that the quality of the transactions is in compliance with predefined parameters
• Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
• Understanding of bank reconciliation, open items, debit & credit clear understanding.
• Focus on Customer Satisfaction, rapport building, effective communication and timely resolution of Customer concerns
