Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team in India seeks a professional to understand the nature of bank transactions and assist with cash allocation in the system, ensuring timely support for the team’s urgent queries.

Responsibilities include manual payment processing, sales/retail reconciliation, and prompt handling of stop/reinstate cheque requests, lodgments, and debits/credits. Emphasis on accurate payments and adherence to policies, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Understand the nature of bank transactions and allocate cash in the system.
• Handle manual payment processing, return payments, and cash flow & retail reconciliation.
• Create MI reporting on time and monthly SLA data.
• Respond promptly to cheque stop/reinstate requests and lodgment movements.

Responsibilities

• Process payments accurately and in line with requests.
• Understand write-offs, offsets, and partial allocation of cash, including commission adjustments and reversals.
• Clarify customer queries and provide timely solutions within short timeframes.
• Ensure transaction quality adheres to predefined parameters and company policies.
• Understand bank reconciliation, open items, and debit/credit clearing.

Job description

• Able to understand the nature of transaction in the bank and allocation cash in system and help team for their immediate query
• Should be able to handle the process of Manual payment processing, return payments and cash flow & retail reconciliation
• Should be able to create all MI reporting on time along with monthly creations of SLA data.
• Able to promptly take action for Stop or reinstate cheque request, transfer Lodgments Debits/Credits.
• Payment processing as per request received with utmost accuracy
• Understand of write offs, offsets and partial allocation of cash, commission adjustments in systems and its reversal
• Ability to understand the nature of query from customer and able to provide a solution withing a short timeframe.
• Ensure that the quality of the transactions is in compliance with predefined parameters
• Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
• Understanding of bank reconciliation, open items, debit & credit clear understanding.
• Focus on Customer Satisfaction, rapport building, effective communication and timely resolution of Customer concerns
