Job summary

ALLEN Career Institute in Maharashtra is seeking a goal-driven Counselor for our admissions team. You will interact with walk-in parents and prospective students, assess learning requirements, explain IIT-JEE and NEET Pre Nurture programs, and convert inquiries into enrollments.

Key duties include in-person counseling, following up on leads, presenting course packages, guiding families through fee structures and installments, completing admission paperwork, and maintaining CRM records to hit

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience: 1–3 years in sales, counseling, or business development within EdTech or TestPrep (IIT JEE / NEET).
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication in English and the local language; build trust with parents.
• Exam awareness: Good understanding of IIT-JEE and NEET exam structures, eligibility, and prep timelines.
• Closing capability: Proven track record of meeting conversion metrics in consultative sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead conversion & in-person counseling with walk-in students and parents.
• Inbound lead follow-ups from digital marketing, website inquiries, and events.
• Articulate curriculum benefits, faculty expertise, batch options, and test series.
• Handle objections, discuss fees/discounts, guide through installments/finance schemes, and complete admission docs.
• Maintain up-to-date lead logs and CRM records.
• Hit weekly and monthly enrollment targets while ensuring customer satisfaction.

We are looking for a goal-driven and empathetic Counselor to join our admissions team. In this role, you will interact directly with walk-in parents and prospective students, assess their learning requirements, explain our IIT-JEE ,NEET Pre Nurture preparation programs, and convert inquiries into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Conversion & In-Person Counseling: Conduct face-to-face academic counseling sessions with walk-in students and parents to understand their goals and pitch suitable course packages (Class 11/12/Dropper batches).
• Inbound Lead Follow-ups: Call warm leads generated via digital marketing, website inquiries, and events to invite them to branch visits or demo sessions.
• Product Knowledge: Articulate the benefits of our curriculum, faculty expertise, batch options, test series, and past success records.
• End-to-End Sales Closure: Handle objection resolution, discuss fee structures/discount policies, guide parents through installment/finance schemes, and complete admission documentation.
• Database & Pipeline Management: Maintain up-to-date lead logs and follow-up records in the internal CRM.
• Targets & Metrics: Achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• Experience: 1- 3 years of experience in sales, counseling, or business development within the EdTech or TestPrep (IIT JEE / NEET) industry.
