Job summary

SB-Constantia in Ahmedabad is seeking an Executive / Sr. Executive MIS & Costing to drive management reporting, costing, and ERP data accuracy.

You will own MIS packs for Plant Operations, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain, and develop dashboards for senior leadership. The role requires MBA (Finance) with about 7 years of experience in MIS, Costing, Plant Finance, or Operations Reporting, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) with 7+ years experience in MIS, costing, or plant finance.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially D365.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and circulate MIS reports for Plant Operations, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Develop dashboards and presentations for senior leadership review.
• Coordinate TJ / Cost verification, CM0 reporting/workings.
• Perform operational cost analysis and support profitability improvement initiatives.
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring activities.
• Monitor daily production ERP activities and ensure timely closure of production transactions.
• Develop and automate reports using D365, Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other functions to resolve deviations.
• Conduct training and periodic reviews with team members on reporting processes and ERP usage.

Job Title: Executive / Sr. Executive MIS & Costing

Location: Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities:

1. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare and circulate Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual MIS reports for Plant Operations, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain functions.
• Prepare monthly plant operational performance reports, including operational highlights, executive overview, KPIs, productivity analysis,and operational cost performance.
• Generate management dashboards and presentations for senior leadership review.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of management MIS and operational reports.

2. Costing & Financial Analysis

• Coordinate TJ / Cost verification, approval processes, and CM0 reporting/workings.
• Perform operational cost analysis and support profitability improvement initiatives.
• Analyze cost variances and provide actionable insights for management decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring activities.

3. ERP Management & Production Tracking

• Monitor daily production ERP activities and ensure timely closure of production transactions.
• Ensure accurate production, consumption, and inventory-related entries in D365.
• Act as a key user for D365 and support resolution of ERP-related reporting issues.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity across operational systems.

4. Data Analysis & Business Insights

• Conduct detailed data analysis and prepare presentations for management reviews.
• Develop meaningful reports and dashboards to support operational and business decisions.
• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving plant performance.

5. Automation & Reporting Enhancement

• Develop and automate reports using D365, Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
• Improve reporting efficiency through process standardization and automation initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement in MIS and reporting processes.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other functions to resolve operational deviations.
• Follow up on action plans and improvement initiatives to ensure timely closure and sustainable results.
• Support management in tracking key operational and financial performance indicators.

7. Team Development & Governance

• Conduct training and periodic reviews with team members on reporting processes and ERP usage.
• Ensure adherence to reporting timelines, data governance, and process controls.

• Timely and accurate preparation of MIS and management reports.
• Accuracy of costing, CM0 reporting, and operational cost analysis.

Candidate Profile:

Qualification: MBA (Finance)

Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in MIS, Costing, Plant Finance, Business Analytics, or Operations Reporting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of MIS reporting, costing, and business analytics.
• Hands-on experience in operational reporting and financial analysis.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft D365 ERP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge preferred.
• Strong presentation and data visualization skills.
• Understanding of plant operations, productivity, and cost management concepts.
