Satyam Developers in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, seeks a seasoned Cost Estimator/Quantity Surveyor with 5-8 years of relevant real estate experience. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial projects, verify BOQs from drawings, conduct rate analyses, and coordinate with procurement for cost optimization.

You will review drawings, prepare tender documents, monitor budgets, and generate cost and MIS reports for management review.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Diploma in civil engineering with cost estimation exposure.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in cost estimation and quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, take-offs, rate analysis and costing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, estimation software and ERP systems.

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial real estate construction projects.
• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Perform quantity take-offs for civil, structural, finishing, and other construction works.
• Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
• Prepare tender estimates, budget estimates, and detailed cost breakups.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope gaps and discrepancies.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for cost optimization and value engineering.
• Monitor project budgets, actual costs, and cost variances against approved estimates.
• Prepare comparative statements, cost reports, and MIS reports for management review.
• Assist in preparing variation statements, extra item analysis, and revised estimates.
• Maintain updated construction rates, material rates, and cost databases.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of estimates and tender documents.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in cost estimation and quantity surveying, preferably in real estate construction.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, and construction costing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Experience with estimation software and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of construction materials, labour rates, subcontracting, and market rates.
• Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
