Job summary

Tanvi Exports in Rajkot, Gujarat, seeks an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost control across jewellery production. You will conduct cost audits, product costing, process costing and inventory valuation to ensure accurate reporting.

You will analyze ERP data, develop cost-saving measures, and collaborate with pricing, budgeting and forecasting teams to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Cost accounting knowledge including cost audit and product/process costing.
• Strong data analysis skills for production cost optimization.
• Experience with ERP costing modules and inventory valuation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct cost audits, product costing, process costing, and inventory valuation to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze data from various sources (e.g., ERP systems) to identify trends and areas for improvement in production costs.
• Develop and implement effective cost control measures to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Provide expert advice on costing methods and best practices to stakeholders across the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-13 years of experience in Cost Accounting or a related field - jewellery industry experience preferred.
• B.Tech degree in Computers or equivalent qualification required; MBA/PGDM preferred, may or may not be CA.
• Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting principles, including Cost Audit, Product Costing, Process Costing, Inventory Valuation etc.
