Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking a senior leader to oversee daily operations of data governance, records management, AI solutions and identity/access systems. You will build and lead a high-performing team, drive automation and process improvements, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve efficiency and reduce risk.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements and a strong focus on governance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder collaboration across global operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale business technology platform operations (records management, IAM, governance).
• Strong people leadership with track record of building high-performing teams.
• Experience driving automation, process optimisation and measurable efficiency/risk reduction.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication; ability to influence senior leaders and technology partners.
• Knowledge of governance and regulatory requirements; ITIL, Six Sigma, RPA, or BPM certifications are highly regarded.

Our Data, AI, Information and Identity Governance team helps Macquarie Asset Management use data and information safely, responsibly and well across its global operations. We work directly with business and technology teams to strengthen governance, manage risk and build a strong data culture.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of key business technology platforms, including data governance, records management, AI solutions, and identity and access systems, ensuring reliable operations and adherence to established standards. You will build and lead a team of operational analysts, driving operational excellence through automation, process optimisation, and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Acting as the primary operational partner for the business, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and technology teams to streamline operations, uphold platform standards, and improve the overall user experience.
